This new version of the story Rapunzel,directed by Nathan Greno is about the daughter of a king and queen who was kidnapped by a witch for her beautiful hair which had magic in them.Whenever the witch would touch her hair,she would automatically become younger.The king and queen would release lanterns on Rapunzel's birthday every year,hoping she would return home one day.An encounter with a runaway thief -Flynn Rider takes place and she decides that she wanted to see the real world for once.Her mother ,the witch did not agree so she went with Flynn one day.She falls in love with Flynn but a misunderstanding takes place and Rapunzel begins to feel that the feeling is not mutual.Thus she returns to the witch.When Flynn comes in search for Rapunzel,the witch shows her evil side .she chains Rapunzel and captures Flynn.Rapunzel promises the witch that if she would let Flynn live,she would go with her wherever the witch wanted her to.The with agrees ,but the moment the witch releases Flynn,Flynn cuts Rapunzel's beautiful hair and thus the witch automatically becomes older,loses her balance,falls down the castle and dies.Rapunzel returns to her parents,the king and the queen and lives happily ever after.
